We are Liz and Justus Zimmerman. We moved to South Bend, IN in 2020 and we immediately fell in love with this vibrant, active, cultured town. We knew we wanted to plant deep roots, and that is exactly what we have done. Today, we both serve on a number of non-profit boards, are active members in our children’s school communities, and volunteer with various organizations.
We are looking for the perfect opportunity to advance our investment in this city. Liz Zimmerman brings a diverse background to the world of business. With a BA in Theatre from the University of Maryland, Liz has learned and flourished in many roles and industries, including wealth management administration, event planning and marketing, education, and her forever love: theatre.
Today, Liz puts all these experiences to active use in the realm of Acquisition Entrepreneurship. Passionate about uncovering potential and driving growth, Liz is actively seeking opportunities to lead businesses into their next chapter of success.

Justus Zimmerman is a dynamic leader focused on merging the worlds of arts, business, and community engagement. As the Executive Director of the South Bend Symphony Orchestra, he's redefined success, putting the focus on the patron and breathing new life into valuable community connections. Justus was recently named one of the region’s 40 Under 40 professionals.
Justus brings his expertise to Legacy Business Investments in both advisory roles and, when the situation calls for it, deeper hands-on capacities, utilizing his diverse experiences to drive success in entrepreneurial ventures.
